1. Description of Service
MyFinalVideo is a secure digital legacy platform allowing users to record, encrypt, and store personal messages to be delivered to designated recipients after the user's death is confirmed. Users may optionally hold dispatch until the next yearly month/day they choose.
2. User Responsibility & Check-ins
To prevent accidental release of messages, you must respond to the periodic Proof-of-Life email checks we send you. You can adjust the frequency of these check-ins in your settings. Failure to respond within the designated time frame and subsequent failure of your emergency contacts to confirm you are alive will result in your messages being dispatched.
3. Privacy and Security
We use client-side end-to-end encryption (E2EE) using the Web Crypto API for video messages. Your decryption key is derived locally and never sent to our servers. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your password; if you lose it, we cannot recover your encrypted videos.
4. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy, engage in harassment, upload illegal content, or abuse the system resources.
